About Kay Chapin
While living on the island of Maui in Hawaii in 1969 Kay realized that over 2000 years ago Jesus paid the penalty for all of her sins. She asked Him into her heart and instantly experienced the joy of being born again and spirit-filled.
One year later she was supernaturally healed of all serious allergies and asthma at a Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International Convention in Waikiki on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
Today she continues to reach out to all types of people, in all walks of life. Kay is a non-denominational believer, a serious student of the bible and an active intercessor sharing the good news for over thirty years. She attended college at Loretto Heights in Denver, University of Hawaii, and Summit Bible College.
Traveling and speaking in Churches, and Women’s Aglow Meetings she lives to serve Jesus. Kay has led Bible Study Groups in: Louisiana, Hawaii, Colorado, Texas, Rhode Island and Florida.
As a wife, mother, grandmother and stepmother she has five grown children, three stepdaughters, six grandsons and one granddaughter. Her forever all time favorite title is “Grandma Kay.”
She and her husband, Charlie, live on the West Coast of Florida in the winter. They Spend summers in Rhode Island cruising between both homes aboard their fifty-five foot motor yacht, North Star, which proudly flies the Christian Boaters Association Flag.
Since 1992 they have successfully completed twelve round trips on the Inland Waterway from Florida to New England and back with side trips to Maine, the Bahamas and Texas.
While cruising, Kay broadcasts on the VHF radio each morning at 8:00 am reaching numerous boaters on the water. Capturing the best of both worlds, either on land or water, has become their lifestyle! It truly is a heaven on earth experience!
Kay was ordained as a minister by Jewish
Voice Ministries on June 16, 2003.
